Hardware Wallets
Keep your private keys offline instead of on a phone or computer.

Password Managers
Unique passwords for every account, so one leak doesn’t unlock the rest.

VPNs
Add a layer of privacy on public Wi-Fi. A VPN does not make you anonymous or protect against scams.

How we choose
- Established company with a public track record and clear security documentation.
- A recovery process that is explained plainly, because lost access is the most common problem.
- Transparent pricing. Check each provider’s site for current prices and features, since they change.
- Working support channels.
Before you buy
- Buy hardware wallets only from the manufacturer’s official site. Never buy one that arrives pre-opened or with a seed phrase already written down.
- Never type your seed phrase into a website, app or message. No real support team will ask for it. See Seed Phrase Do’s & Don’ts.
- Send a small test transfer first. See How to Test Transfers Safely.
- Plan for recovery before you need it. See Self-Custody & Recovery.
